Browse Peer Mentor Cards in List and Search Results
The peer mentor card widget provides a condensed summary card optimised for list and search contexts. Each card renders the mentor's name, current status badge (active/paused/expired), availability indicator, and key profile fields such as skill area and assignment count. Cards use the unified entity colour system for status badges so coordinators can pattern-recognise status across a large list instantly. The card is tappable and navigates to the full peer mentor detail screen. This compact format is essential for coordinators who frequently switch between multiple mentor views throughout their working day.
User Story
Acceptance Criteria
- Given I am browsing a list of peer mentors, when cards are displayed, then each card shows the mentor's name, status badge, availability indicator, and assignment count
- Given a peer mentor is active, when I view their card, then the status badge uses the active colour consistent with the unified entity colour system
- Given a peer mentor is paused or has expired certification, when I view their card, then a distinct visual indicator differentiates them from active mentors
- Given I tap a peer mentor card, when the tap registers, then I am navigated to that mentor's full profile detail screen
- Given the list contains many mentors, when I scroll through it, then cards render efficiently without performance degradation
Business Value
Coordinators frequently manage large pools of peer mentors and need fast visual scanning to identify available candidates. Compact status-rich cards reduce the time spent on each assignment decision and lower the cognitive load during high-volume coordination sessions.
