View Current NDA Status and Validity
A peer mentor who acts as a volunteer driver or who handles sensitive assignment data needs visibility into the state of their NDA. The NDA Signing Screen (or a dedicated status view within it) should display the date the current NDA was signed, the document version that was signed, and the expiry date if the organisation configures time-limited agreements. If the NDA is expired or approaching expiry (e.g. within 30 days), a clear warning is shown prompting the peer mentor to re-sign. This information should be readily accessible from the settings or profile area.
User Story
Acceptance Criteria
- Given a peer mentor with a valid NDA on file navigates to their NDA status, when the screen loads, then it displays the date signed, document version, and expiry date (if applicable)
- Given a peer mentor whose NDA expires within 30 days, when they view their NDA status, then a prominent warning banner is displayed encouraging them to re-sign
- Given a peer mentor with an expired NDA, when they view their NDA status, then the status is clearly shown as 'Expired' with a call-to-action button to begin re-signing
- Given a peer mentor who has never signed an NDA, when they view their NDA status, then the status shows 'Not signed' with an explanation of what the NDA covers and a button to begin signing
Business Value
Proactive NDA status visibility reduces the risk of a peer mentor being unexpectedly locked out of sensitive assignments at a critical moment. Organisations benefit from higher NDA compliance rates because peer mentors can renew agreements in advance rather than being blocked mid-task, improving operational continuity and audit readiness.
